"This was an ideal location for our visit. It was central for our walk to the Piazza and/or Rialto Bridge/market area. They had a canal entrance for our water taxi to deliver us AND our bags directly to the hotel. No schlepping it over cobbler walkways or up and over bridges. Perfect!
The old foundation had been renovated yet still maintained the lovely ambiance of the Venice of old. Our room, too, was quite nice with a comfortable bed and AC, which was needed on two occasions. It aslo had a lovely bathroom. Totally modern including an Elevator. Thank you, Lord. The $20/each Euro breakfast was well worth the price. Bacon, eggs, and everything else that makes a breakfast wonderful. So, did we enjoy our stay? YES! TOTALLY!"
