"Upgraded to deluxe room which was big and clean with sea view. Only downside building work started above our heads at 8am. Breakfast very good. Shame no freshly squeezed orange juice but apart from that, perfect."

"We chose the Quiete for the pool, beach club and a place to wind down after a few days sight seeing. The pool area is lovely, pool bar service is great and it is well cared for. All the staff we engaged with were friendly and helpful with good English. The evening meal on our second night was really good and the kitchen coped well with some tables and a big group of about 50 all eating at the same time. Breakfast was average, a good selection but at 9.30 the scrambled egg looks to have been put out at 7.30 and not refreshed. Kitchen were happy to fried egg to order but not an omelette. If you are a coffee drinker and haven't paid the extra for a room where a coffee maker is included then you won't get coffee as they don't do instant. And while there is a kettle and tea bags there is no milk provided. And when we asked about it there wasn't an offer of any. The bathroom was a bit tired given how recently the place had been upgraded and hot water wasn't too hot in the mornings. One real annoyance was that one of our terrace chairs had gone walkabout to a neighbouring terrace. We spotted this on checking in and ask for it to be either brought back or replaced, 2 days later that hadn't been dealt with despite a second reminder. Overall a nice place to escape the bustle of Taormina, be aware that the walk to get a bus up is a good 10 minutes, some along a main road with poor pavement. However the local shops and restaurants are good and no touristy gifts."

La Villa

"La Villa is a truly stunning place; a real oasis of calm amidst the crazy vibrancy of Sicily. Paola and her team did a wonderful job of making us feel at home, with lots of helpful guidance and plenty of local restaurant tips (all the ones we tried were fully worthy of being recommended). The location is truly peaceful and beautiful, set back from the busier parts of Giardini Naxos amongst lemon groves, and with stunning views of Mount Etna from the pool and gardens (we were lucky enough to see plenty of volcanic action during our stay). We need to make a special mention of the breakfasts, which were some of the best we’ve ever had. The menu would vary from day to day but everything was freshly cooked right in front of us in the outdoor kitchen (which were then permitted to use to prepare snacks and light lunches (salads, etc). The pancakes and quesadillas were a particular highlight for me! The villa is within walking distance from the beach and the centre of Giardini Naxos (25-35 minutes). We did our full stay just walking and public transport but a scooter or car would probably be a good option. We would highly recommend La Villa to all."

"Absolutely amazing vacation here! Friendly staff, delicious food, clean room and close to Taormina and Naxos beach shops Overall excellent!! Unfortunately some guests do not pick up after themselves so at times lobby not clean but that’s understandable Could not have asked for anything more!👍"
