"The room was very spacious and tasteful. Very updated bathroom. Well soundproofed- it’s next to Orange County Airport and we couldn’t hear any airplanes or traffic noise. Staff was very helpful suggesting local restaurants. Comfortable beds. Convenient parking. Really enjoyed our overnight stay. "

"It’s a Hyatt Regency, and this one is very consistent with the high standard of the brand. My only quibble is more about Irvine, which is so car-oriented. You can walk from the hotel in the sense that there are sidewalks, but there is nothing - stores, restaurants, etc. - within walking distance. Just a couple office buildings (great if you have business with JP Morgan, Charles Schwab, or K&L Gates). And the $42/night parking fee is probably consistent with the market but it’s a pretty captive market given the car dependence of the area. It’s Irvine. Would be nice if their little shop had less usurious prices. But "

"Rooms are way out of date and dirty feeling. Tried calling house keeping and front desk multiple times for more towels and an extra blanket for the pull out bed and got not answer any of the times. Bed was hard and very squeaky. All the furniture was old and run down. Room smelled like cigarettes. Def not worth the price to stay there. Only good thing about this stay was the nice gym equipment and decent breakfast options. Will not stay here again."

"Everything is great, but their Internet service leaves a lot to be desired, it is super slow and the employees refuse to schedule your room cleaned, they tell you they only clean once every 7 days, I was there for a week and booked another week back to back, the front desk was very reticent to schedule a room cleaning, even when I explained that I was already there for a week. I am sure those directions come from management and not the staff."

"I checked in desperately needing rest and asked for a quiet room and the head of my bed was next to the elevator shaft! Ugh! The hotel staff did apologize and make amends and now I know to look out for that in the future. I was over the moon with the view of the room which over looked the courtyard and had a cute faux fireplace and couch in it. The bed's very comfortable. The pillows were great as well. The patio has a great happy hour (I think it's a great OC secret) but be careful to ask what drinks are on the happy hour because they won't automatically tell you. I ordered a great Caprese salad and it was delicious but the flat bread on happy hour is a half order not the full size you get ordering at dinner. Still very delicious. I was incredibly surprised that they don't serve lattes. I think this would be an upgrade worth considering especially as they have a bistro style and latte machines are easy. They do serve Prosecco and that is a win. The indoor restaurant is also great with a good full menu. Wandered over to the cute pool area and all the tables were a mess with food crumbs so could've used better cleanup but was able to use the hot tub a couple of times without issue or crowds. Staff was very nice, especially on the patio."
