Charm Beach Retreat

"Had a good time at the Charm Beach Retreat! Just be aware that the hotel is about a 15-minute bus ride from the city centre and is in more of a residential area, which can be a bit frustrating if you want to be going back and forth to your hotel. Also, the room to your hotel leads straight outside; there is no hallway or lobby in the traditional sense, but there is a gate around the property and a code to your room, which only you have access to and is changed after every visit. The staff are really helpful when you contact them; my room was clean, and the air conditioning was effective!"

"The room was excellent value for money in the centre of Alicante. Quite basic accommodation but we expected this considering the price and description but very clean and modern with everything we needed. The room was large with a large balcony too! I would definitely return"

"Very nice place. The room was big and the air conditioning worked very well. The hotel has places to just sit, relax and watch the beautiful sea and sunsets. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The breakfast buffet is wonderful."

"Nice hotel - great room / bathroom tidy , clean and comfy bed. Excellent pool area and staff helpful and attentive. Would definitely return. Only negatives where the WiFi was not working on the tv for a couple of days and the pool lining was coming away in places"

"Lovely spacious room with everything you needed ( I did have to request a fridge which i thought was a bit odd being Spain but they gave me one the next day !) Amazing swimming pool the largest I've seen in a hotel and not full of kids (probably because quite deep). Very friendly & helpful staff. Tram and lovely quiet beach nearby So very good value for money for Spain in August"
