American's Should only Use the Monterey Hotels
"For Japanese standards the room is spacious. I tried many other hotels in Japan and American's should probably only use Monterey Hotels which are throughout Japan for the comforts we are used to and reasonably priced.
However very disappointed in the hot springs. Not only here but throughout Japan. It is nude but men with men and women with women. And if any tattoos you are not allowed to use any hot springs throughout Japan. Don't buy the false advertisement saying coed with bathing suits or tattoos are ok. They say it exists until you get there and then they don't know what you are talking about,
But to the hotel, great location, very nice room, very friendly and helpful staff. Expensive on the food in the hotel compared what you can get at any nearby restaurants.
So enjoy the room with elbow space, forget the hotel hot springs, enjoy its location to everything especially to tons of shops, restaurants, and very near to all the subways and buses."
