Wir hatten nur eine Nacht in San Jose benötigt und das Hotel Sura aufgrund seiner Nähe zum Bus Terminal gewählt. Die Gegend allgemein erschien nicht besonders vertauenserweckend. Der Check-in erfolgte im nahe gelegenen Partnerhotel Stray Cat, der Mitarbeiter begleitete uns dann zum Hotel Sura und erklärte uns auch, dass das Frühstück wiederum im Stray Cat stattfinden würde. Dies bestand aus den traditionellen Reis und Bohnen. Das Zimmer war winzig ohne jegliche Ablagemöglichket. An den beiden Haken an der Zimmertür hingen zwei Handtücher die den Anschein erweckten bereits benutzt worden zu sein. Am Waschbecken befanden sich Schimmelspuren, der Seifenspender war kaputt. Mangels Klimaanlage war das Zimmer sehr warm. Die gut funktionierende Dusche war daher sehr angenehm. Für eine Nacht ist das Hotel ok, für längere Aufenthalte viel zu klein.
