"Airport hotels usually feel like soulless places that are just there for airline crews, business travelers and people looking for convenience when they have an early flight, like we did. The Hilton Garden Inn was so much more! The lobby was welcoming and had a nice bar and lounge area, there was a great pool area, plus it was a quick 5 minute shuttle ride to SJO with a huge mall next door. The rooms were extra large and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rather than feeling confined to the room, it was great to have the mall next door and the pool to choose from to kill some time while we were there. Highly recommend!"

"I had an amazing stay at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belén. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and even more stunning in person. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Costa Rica. What stood out the most, though, was the people. Staff members, Jennifer and Mario, truly went out of their way to make my stay special. Their kindness, genuine care, and willingness to help didn’t go unnoticed. It’s rare to find people who are so invested in making sure guests have the best experience possible, and I was incredibly grateful for that. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was great, and the grounds were gorgeous. I found several beautiful spots on the property to enjoy. My trip was so memorable. It’s the people who turn a beautiful hotel into an unforgettable experience, and that’s exactly what happened here. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica."

"Everything was great, but we were expecting the swim up bar to be open, which was one of the reasons we booked with yall. Cookies awesome!!! Staff at desk and restaurant/bar excellent. Ate at the restaurant the food was delicious. Is there a time of the season when the swim up bar is closed?"
