Located in downtown Alajuela this hotel offers a continental breakfast consisting of rice and beans, scrambled eggs, toast, and one sausage along with juice. The rooms are dated and in need of some care, but the price is reasonable. The rooms consist of a bed bathroom no television and no other amenities. As with all concrete buildings, there is noise, and noise travels. They do have room rooms away from the the roads, which make for a somewhat quiet night sleep.
The staff was good and the place was decent clean but the building need an urgen overhaul. Was supposed to have a full size bed instead these rooms only have 2 twin beds sticking together to look like a full or queen size. The TV in my room was one of those clunky fat and small that I havent seen since like 2010. The only good thing about the building is the location.

I really do enjoy this hotel. The staff is outstanding. The rooms were nice and big and it is centrally located.
Breakfast was okay, lots of shops nearby and price was very affordable. However my TV would not work despite batteries in remotes being changed. Biggest issue was a toilet with seat, no soap in bathroom and No A/C.
They said it was 24/7 check in it was definitely not it was very hard to get in my room. Room smelled terrible and was very uncomfortable.
I booked it last minute cause we were arriving late and I thought the 24 seven check in would make it possible. Do not recommend this place.
The noise! Unbearable road noise ALL night. Toilet didn’t flush. Paint was peeling off the wall/ceiling. There were crushed potatoe chips on the floor of our room. Someone at 3am slammed their room door several times and ran very heavy footed down the corridor several times. Spend a bit more and stay elsewhere!
no water in shower, no ac, fan broke, was told be careful of robery at night, and not the building in photo.

I stay in hostels all the time and this place was worse. Very loud -you can hear everyone and everything. The bathroom is from the 1970s and had many broken items. The staff was very nice which was the only good thing about this place. I wouldn’t pay more than $20 for this place. The lobby is the only nice area of the whole place. They were doing a bunch of construction on some rooms so perhaps they are updating.

Basic facility, room with 2 beds good mattresses, tv and private bathroom. Breakfast included. Parking available but 3 blocks away from hotel which is not very convenient if you have a car and come back late at night.
Overall cheap hotel close to the airport. Friendly staff.
