"The Marquis is a beautiful beachfront hotel. I booked a king Junior suite and the room was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a mini bar. The few things that I feel people should know before booking this hotel are the following: If you like to swim in the ocean, this might not be the place for you, as the water is not swimmable. The only option is you can walk about 10-15 minutes towards The Hilton. Some of the restaurants require a reservation for dinner. I suggest you contact the concierge as soon as you book so that you can begin booking your dinners/activities. They aren’t the quickest at responding so sometimes you have to keep following up. If you wait until last minute, you might be limited on dinner options because the restaurants do fill up. I highly recommend dinner at Pergola. That was our favorite restaurant along with in room dining! Room service was excellent! Lastly, the drinks and food poolside took a REALLY long time, so just be prepared to wait. We saw a lot of people with their YETIs and would keep refilling them. I should have done the same! Besides that, the food overall is pretty good. The coffee shop drinks are delish and the service from the staff makes the whole experience worth it! The views of the ocean are breathtaking and the entire resort is very clean and beautiful. Don’t forget to take cash for tips, if you like to tip, as the staff works very hard!"
