"The facilities are great and the staff are wonderful. Nice deluxe room, spacious with nice balcony. Some of the outer areas are in need of a spruce but the main hotel and pool areas are very good condition. On balance, probs not a 5 star but the staff definitely make up for it and if anything is wrong, they will sort it immediately."
"Our room was super clean and well equipped. We booked a studio room for 3 adults but found it a little on the small size for us, however we managed. What can i say about the staff...absolutely fabulous and just couldnt do enough to help. Made our trip so much easier "
Cavalieri Hotel Malta, a member of Radisson Individuals
6/10 Okay
"Dining room staff friendly and helpful. Rep less so. Could do with a spruce up and I questioned how room service worked with no phone in the room. Shower screen didn’t fit over bath so was hard to shower without flooding the bathroom. Very squeaky bathroom door. Good location though & nice bar area. Food ok but not much variety. For a Radisson in a country where you can’t drink the tap water I would have expected drinking water to be provided for free in the room. Fine overall but nothing special. "
"Sadly building hotels next door without prior notification when booking. The hotel was very dated and all needed modernising especially our room. The area was a disappointment ok if your on a stag/hen do ect.
Malta im sure was a beautiful country years ago but now all you see is cranes. So much building work everywhere.we didnt venture to gozo as on a short break ....maybe that was better? We were totally disappointed with malta and wish we hadnt gone ."
"A 3 night stay All Inclusive to visit some of Malta’s famous history.
Overall the Qawra Palace is superb base, though it’s a big hotel which takes some navigating at first. I also must say it’s very busy, especially in the restaurant - we visited in Feb so I can only imagine what it is like peak season. The rooms are clean but I’m glad we upgraded to a sea view. The food is varied, good quality & plentiful. If you are staying in the cooler months, the sun shines a lot longer on floor 11, where you’ll find the rooftop pool. "
"The room was large and quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable and enormous and there was also a comfy settee from which we could watch tv. It had a nice balcony looking down to the sea. Excellent breakfast."
