"Our experience was unique as the day we arrived Baguio City was under a typhoon and there were many problems around the city with downed trees and power outages. The owner met us at the property and explained the situation, what we needed to know about the facility, and that he would be working to make sure we were safe and had water. "I honestly would not stay here again. I found it very difficult to get to and from the house and town. Taxis and jeepneys just wouldn't stop. The house and room were nice overall,fairly spacious and comfortable. There are so many dogs outside though, that like to bark very early in the morning. So it's hard to sleep in in the mornings. I would definitely pay more to stay closer to town and in a more quieter area of the mountainous city."

"Griffin Lodge is a SCAM!! We had a confirmed booking on this place for February 25-27, 2022, also paid online and that it is no refund for any cancellations or rebooking. When we arrived, the whole place was barricaded with bamboo fencing. There were bystanders outside dilly dallying which looks weird and told us that there is nobody inside and that the place has been non-operational for more than two years. "As soon as we arrived and so the room that they provided, which is not the room I booked, we immediately went out in search of a different place to stay. The room they provided is ok at the most but the facilities is so dirty inclusing the bathroom, and the building itslef seems rickety and falling apart. It is even more expensive than the better accommodations we found."

"Very difficult to find. Not ready to accept guests as it is a house not renovated to be hotel-like. The receiving bench is covered with dirty linen/seat cover. The house is not attractive to guests. It was not designed to accomodate paying guests. The toilet is dirty although the water supply is good. The room is very hot, no ventilation. "

After driving 7 hours we get there and could not find the place as there was no street name or unit number. We called the phone number twice and no one answered. Google maps car led us to another resort,not San Juan Apartments. A kind man at a Tourist information kiosk said that there were many San Juan Apartments in Urbiztondo and we needed a unit number and street...

"This is a bogus transient place. My family and I arrived late at night in Baguio, to our surprise the place that the location showed was a different transient house, blossom inn. The number they provided is not real.Please remove this place from your roster before other families get victimized. Waste of money"
