"Our stay at Bahia Resort was overall a pleasant experience, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations we had.
The front desk staff made a great first impression. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Our room was clean and well maintained, although it felt a bit small. We were assigned a room overlooking the bayside parking lot. Since we checked in during the middle of the week and the resort didn't appear to be very busy—especially the waterfront rooms—I do wish we had been offered the option to upgrade. We likely would have taken it, as the parking lot view wasn't ideal. There was quite a bit of vehicle traffic, and we also noticed several individuals spending time in the parking area, which took away from the overall atmosphere.
We had dinner at the Boathouse restaurant one evening. The dinner menu was fairly limited, and while the service was good, we felt the pricing was high for the quality of the food. Our meal, which included crab cakes and a steak, came to well over $100 and didn't feel like a great value.
The pool area was nice, with plenty of towels available, and the pool bar attendant was very friendly. The recreation staff stopped by to host games while we were there. Although they didn't seem particularly enthusiastic, they were kind, and we still had a fun time participating.
One of the biggest advantages of the resort is its location. It's an easy walk to several restaurants, coffe"
