"I specifically paid more for a better room, but when I arrived, I was told that the room was still not cleaned and that I would have to stay in a second-floor room instead. I checked in after 4 PM, so the room should have been ready by then. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. I was also told to wait another hour to an hour and a half, but I could not do that because I had to leave again shortly after arriving. This situation was very inconvenient, and I do not think this was acceptable service considering the amount I paid. I would like to request a refund or appropriate compensatio"

"This place is pretty centralized to most tourist spots in San Diego. Unfortunately that means traffic is a congested during peak hours. The parking is okay. There is one way in and out, so make sure you park your vehicle for easy exit. No free breakfast, only free coffee/tea, but there is a "living room" where snacks can be purchased. The noise level in the room is pretty high...sounds from the other rooms, footsteps above, conversations, and exterior people noise. The staff was pleasant and they were able to accommodate our request to have our 3 rooms in the same bldg. There are 3 levels for each building and an elevator in each one. The elevator is tiny, maybe 4 people with no luggage. We were in SD for a quick weekend event. The property is on the older side, but it fit our needs- a bed and a shower and nothing else. The best thing-they had multiple large ice machines! Cheers!"
