"Room was fully equipped, I had issues with Parking. In ad it said Parking on site included in price, or off-site for $20/ day. We parked vehicle on Grounds and didn't move it for 4 Days but was charged $80 anyways. Nice that Everything is Available on site, food, bars, Beach chairs, shopping, coffee. Restaurant on roof has good food and Breakfast was nice. Other Issue: Our Room was on 5th floor. Next floor up is Sky Deck/ Bar/ Restaurant/ Lounge: Kinda Loud noise coming Through the Ceiling. Band till about 1am, moving furniture etc. Great Location on Beach. Great Food within walking Distance. Would definitely stay again. "

"The arrival was as planned. My Expedia reservation included a sofa bed which was clearly written on the reservation. At 430pm checkin I was given a suite which was suppose to have 2 queen beds and a sofa bed which is enough to sleep 5 persons. It was not until we returned to the suite at midnight that we tried opening the sofa bed, but it turned out to be a regular non sofa bed. By this time my kids were already in bed and settled in. I went to the front desk to inquire what had happened. The same rep that checked me in was still there. She acnowleged their mistake ref the sofa. She offered to move us from the 1st floor to a higher floor where there was a suite with sofa bed available. Being midnight, having settled in, and having kids on bed...I just requested a price adjustment or credit for their mistake. Rep stated she would make a note of it. Two days later durinv checkout I mentioned the issue again but nothing was done about it. There was no initiative on the hotel's part to address my request. This oversight by the hotel is something that they cannot afford to get wrong. The main reason guests book a hotel is for sleep purposes. When it is clearly stated on the reservation that a sofa bed was reserved, it is crucial to get it right...period. if this is an issue between Expedia and the hotel (Marriott), the guest should not have the burden to prove who dropped the ball. Other than this cricial issue, our stay was pleasant."

"Pink Shell is a great place to stay with lots of things to do without leaving the resort. The resort was very clean and staff were pleasant. There are many different places to purchase food and drinks and plenty of free fun activities. The included breakfast is a step above and was very convenient. This location is at the end of the Blvd, but is well within walking distance to the area downtown. There is also a shuttle trolley that's very convenient for those unable to walk much. The downtown area offers different restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir shops and kiosks. We had a great time and would book this resort again."

"Overall satisfied with the property. Really nice pool and garden area. Pool was very clean and kept up. Room was smaller than pictures showed but the kitchenette was convenient. Bathroom is small. So small. And the room we were in did not have a plug in the bathroom ??? Also only other mirror in the room did not have a plug nearby. Very hard to get ready but we made it work. Our room was also clean along with the rest of the property. I did not see one bug 😊 staff were very friendly and pleasant. Amenities were nice! Breakfast is simple but free! Kids loved the pop tarts and coffee cakes! My one complaint is the amount of light from outside at night. Only thin curtains on windows and the lights outside blast through and around the outside. If you want a place to sleep where you won’t spend a whole lot of time in the room that is budget friendly, this is a good place! We spent most of our time out and about and only were there in the morning and at night. If you plan to visit fort myers beach and sanibel island in season, plan for a lot of traffic! Took us 45min-1hour to get to fort myers beach. It’s about 1.5 miles. Go early! Find parking and have a second breakfast before the beach early! I don’t suggest the trolly. Eat at Izzy’s downtown, so good!! "

Limited breakfast last day due to 'an emergency'. Overbooked, king bed and sofa really isn't an upgrade from 2 Q's, a small partician does not make 'suite,"
