Great stay but about a 7Eur taxi to yumbo or a 20-30 minute walk, during pride that option is taxi for sure. Could be a bit more sound proof for early mornings. But the neighbourhood is quiet after 11pm. Staff was amazing! Would recommend!

Great gay place to stay

A really lovely place to stay with friendly helpful staff. The room (like a small house) was really well maintained and spotlessly clean and also well equipped It’s a 7 euro ride to the Jumbo but friends who were in accommodation nearer the Jumbo paid far more for inferior places

I have stayed here several times and it’s honestly my favourite. Quiet neighbourhood, a €10 taxi to Yumbo, Spar right next door, bar staff terrific, very decent room service, great breakfast. It’s perfecto!

The best GC Gay resort

Vista Bonita is a rare find; its relaxed and friendly yet clean, neat and tidy. What really makes it are the staff. Have been a few times now and Ayoz (with his wonderful colleagues Edvaido and Deigo). greets me like a long lost friend and makes me a wonderful coffee (or 3) each morning. I will be back and if you want a relaxed gay base from which to explore the delights of Maspolomas I suggest you visit too

Vista Bonita is a top exclusive resort in Maspalomas - Playa del Inglés. It's ideal if you seek a quiet stay and don’t mind taxis (7-8€) to Yumbo at night. I was solo and felt a bit isolated, but the high-quality service and amenities compensated. Arriving late via shuttle, my key bracelet was in the safe as promised. The spacious duplex apartment features a full bathroom upstairs, a toilet downstairs, balcony, well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, induction hobs, microwave, toaster, and filter coffee machine. It has over 10 power sockets, a comfy bed, and spotless cleanliness. Complimentary amenities include two water bottles, white wine, tea facilities, and beach towels. Upgrading to a superior duplex offers champagne and a Lavazza espresso machine. The heated pool is enjoyable, though the jacuzzi is very hot. The rooftop has a chill-out area and sauna—though I didn't use them. The bar opens early and serves a €20 buffet breakfast, plus lunch and drinks, though prices are high. Staff like Eduardo and Ayoze were attentive and helpful, especially Eduardo with taxi calls. During the day, bus 73 connects Faro de Maspalomas, Vista Bonita, El Tablero, San Fernando, and Playa del Inglés. You can reach the gay beach in 35 minutes via bus 73 to Faro and a walk along the shore, the dunes walk is more scenic, but takes about an hour. Public buses from/to the airport cost 4.05€ and stop 900 hiking meters away, but I recommend booking a shuttle for direct drop-off, available from 7€.

LGBT resort with a relaxed feel.

This is a great LGBT resort in Sonnenland, Maspalomas. I am probably biased (as a regular guest for many years) but the staff are great. It's pretty well maintained. Very clean. It's friendly and relaxed. Nice 2- level apartments. Some overlook the pool / bar others a little more quiet /private overlook the garden. A car is handy but not essential. It's about 8 Euro in a taxi to Playa del Ingles with the Yumbo and all its delights. If you want to be social this resort offers that. Other guests are usually friendly, with a mixture of nationalities - including Spanish locals. If you want to keep to yourself and just chill that's also fine. Relaxed attitide is welcome at VB - it's not pretensious.

Gem of a resort

Another visit to Vista Bonita and it’s still as excellent as ever. Relaxing environment, great facilities and fantastic staff. All the staff are such a fab friendly and welcoming team. David and Eduardo at the bar are a fabulous double act making great drinks and bar food for us. The cleaning team are so efficient - we recognised them from last year. They take such pride in their work. We love the small sized resort as it means it is rarely crowded. Guests are of all all ages and geographies and never judgemental. This is genuinely a place to be your true self and just soak up the beautiful weather. We shall return next year 😊

We are a hetro- flexible couple and we were allowed to stay at a Gay and Lesbian resort. For this we are grateful. It was not crowded so we did not disturb or upset any of the men of consequence Over all it was very clean and tidy with excellent facilities and right beside both shopping and a wonderful lifestyle resort which we also visited often. My only complaint would have to be that it did not appear that they washed the stone floors in our suite that often . Because of this our bath mat had my footprints on it which embarrassed me more than anything as it left brown spots…
