"This hotel is top notch perfect in so many ways. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. The restaurant was impeccable and we dined there several times. We were traveling with our dog, and there was a lovely park across the street and the River Walk was only a couple of blocks away. Would give 10 Stars if we could!"

"The room was very small, but that was OK. The walk in shower was nice with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. But it was the worst hotel bed we've ever experienced and the pillows were awful! The mattress was very hard, and it slumped in the middle. The pillows were lumpy and useless - so bad that we went and bought pillows! The sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. Not sure I will choose to stay at a Hampton again."

"Roof top pool is great. Direct access to Riverwalk is great for mobility challenged so as to avoid using stairs. Valet parking is convenient but expensive. Our room had a lot of street noise so good to use ear plugs which I did. Check room location for street noise if you are sensitive to that."

"I have been booking hotel reservations for my employees across the USA for years with Best Western and other hotel brands, and I have never experienced an issue like this. Yesterday, my employee was told he needed to present the physical card used for the reservation, even though the booking had already been paid online. The front desk employee did not seem properly trained to handle a basic situation like this. She called the manager for guidance, but the manager appeared unsure of the hotel’s own policies and was openly questioning the procedure over the phone. The entire experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. In the end, I had no choice but to call and cancel the reservation because the hotel refused to honor a reservation that had already been confirmed and paid for."

"I loved staying here because you could walk to the river walk in just a few minutes. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The room was really clean and spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast that comes with the booking. Not only was there no waffle/pancake station, the eggs, sausage, and potatoes were absolutely horrible. The next morning I went down to the river walk and bought breakfast."
