The people at the front desk were so rude, I paid for 2 nights and did the check in properly, but then the next day they take my stuff out of the room , arguing that I just paid for 1 night, and than they didn't want to give ma an other room, they just say , go an complain whit Expedia that's not our problem, and after been arguing about it and show them the payment and the confirmation number, they said they gonna do me a favor, and let me sleep in an other room even it was not their responsibility, and ask me again to complain with Expedia, and the room that they gave me was an incomplete room with no furniture just a bed. I whish there were a way to get a refund but it's the last time I stay there .

I want to be as honest as possible with this review. I booked this hotel at the last minute during an unplanned weekend trip to San Antonio. I chose it because I have stayed at Red Roof properties several times in the past, and my previous experiences have generally been good and consistent with what I expect from the brand. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Red Roof hotel. The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. There was no trash can in the room, and the shower did not have a curtain. The electrical outlets on one of the walls, where the TV was located, were not working, so we could not use the TV or those outlets to charge our phones, for example. There were also numerous details throughout the room and bathroom that appeared to be the result of poorly completed repairs. Overall, the property gave the impression that it may have recently undergone a change in ownership or management and was put back into operation before the necessary repairs and improvements had been properly completed. I understand that hotels can sometimes have issues, especially during renovations, but this experience was far below the minimum standards I have come to expect from the Red Roof brand. It is a shame because I have stayed at other Red Roof hotels in the past and had positive experiences. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have ever had with the chain.
