San Antonio hotel rooms a the Aimbridge Hospitality

"Location is great, but the hotel is a rat maze of hall ways. Very hard to find your way around. We had reserved a Premier room, but the room was anything but Premier. The room was so small that we upgraded to a larger room after one night. Also,the hotel parking is very expensive ($55 per night). There is very reasonable City parking across the street."

"Location is fantastic! Close to shopping and just a few blocks away from restaurants and the Riverwalk experience. The area is very family friendly and seemed safe. I appreciated the police/state trooper presence around busier areas. Its a nice perk having a coffee shop and restaurant on site too. Beautiful lobbies and exterior! Cleanliness in the room was mediocre. I wiped down the bathroom with Clorox wipes including the floor and although the cloths weren't filthy,they were gray. I cleaned around the faucets and got the water scum wiped away quite easily. A little elbow grease would go a long way. Very worn toilet seat,shower caulking was deteriorating and black,cracks in the sink and the carpet needs a good shampooing. *Please note you need to request room cleaning during your stay or it won't happen. Definitely needs some updating! The $75 a night surcharge was surprising and seemed unnecessary and high. It does get returned at the end of your stay,but just be forewarned. You do share amenities with the Menger,which is a nice little perk although its rundown also. I understand that there is work being done to update places though,so maybe these hotels are working towards that. Overall, it wasnt terrible and the rooms definitely need some work,but it was a comfortable place to rest out bodies after a day of exploring San Antonio. "

"No soap if you accidentally forget yours Room was to cold it was not adjustable in room need to shut off the a/c in room. Mold in Bathroom top of shower floor cracked in bathroom You have to do Valet you don’t have a choice $54.00 plus tip, a day. Bad coffee maker no creamer. Not happy with accommodations at all. "
