"the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....

Gastgeber Silvano war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte immer tolle Tipps für Restaurants und die Umgebung. Man hat sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, und das Frühstück war wirklich erstklassig – frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe vorbereitet. "This hotel was adjacent to the Bari central train station so incredibly easy to find. The front desk person let me into my room 2 1/2 hours early, something that makes a difference. The room was fine and the morning breakfast buffet the next morning was the best I've had in traveling in 4 months in Italy. The staff also gave me excellent suggestions for local restaurants and attractions!"
