"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "The accommodation was right on the picturesque harbour front and a 2 minute walk away from the port. We only stayed overnight as we were travelling on to Lefkada the following day but everything was perfect. Nice restful night's sleep after the journey from Yorkshire. The hosts provided excellent communication. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay for a longer stay. Thank you!"

Meliti Waterfront Suites

10/10 Excellent

"From the moment we stepped into this property we were met with a friendly host who continued to be very helpful throughout our stay. The apartments are across the road from the pebble beach and a 15 minute walk to Sami. The pool was clean with plenty of lounges and umbrellas. The apartment was large with a balcony, kitchen and washing machine. We did not hire a car but used taxi’s which were very efficient. The fare from the airport was 60 euro and took about 45 minutes. Highly recommended for people who want a relaxed and peaceful experience and environment."

Emelisse Nature Resort

"Our time at Emelisse in Kefalonia was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. The pools are absolutely lovely and offer the perfect vantage point to take in the incredible sunsets each evening as you overlook Lefkada in the distance. Dining at the resort was a fantastic experience. The restaurant overlooks the pools and serves delicious food, made even better by the incredibly welcoming and attentive staff. Starting the day with their delicious breakfast buffet while looking out over the water was a daily treat. The absolute highlight of our trip was booking the resort's private boat and captain for a full-day charter—I cannot recommend this enough! If you prefer to stay close to the resort, you have direct access to a gorgeous rock beach, complete with a ladder off the rocks where you can swim straight to a nearby cave. Getting into Fiskardo is a breeze. The hotel offers a convenient free shuttle, or you can take a 12-minute walk along a path that leads right into town. While the property is beautiful for anyone, in my opinion, the serene vibe and amenities make it most suited for adults. I highly recommend Emelisse and would return in a heartbeat!"

"We had a lovely stay at Ballas! Our studio’s balcony faced the sea & had beautiful climbing bougainvillea which offered extra privacy. The kitchen and bathroom fittings are dated but in my opinion add to the cosy charm, and everything is very clean! The garden area is where you can read in the evening while listening to the sea lapping on the rocks. There is access to the sea from the back of the property which is all rock but large bean bag cushions are provided for comfort. Stavros and the housekeeper (whose name I didn’t get!) are both lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"We had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel, the hotel met all our expectations and far more, the staff are fantastic, so polite, happy and cheery, we could not fault our stay here. It was in such a lovely spot. We will definitely be coming back. We nearly opted to go next door to the 5 star hotel but after reading both sets of reviews for both of these hotels we are so glad we chose this one."
