"Wonderful hotel with delicious breakfasts including freshly cooked eggs to order and real coffee. Good location with a 15 minute walk through parks to the Registan. Staff were excellent with good English. The only slight negative was that the bathroom ventilation was poor, and when we mentioned that to the manager, he moved us to another better room with a much better bathroom. Excellent service!"

"Hotel is a little out of the city (~20 minutes walk) and the hotel is designed to cater for business travellers. However, it still makes a good base for tourists visiting Samarkand. The room was clean and modern, bathroom was really nice but the WiFi was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was buffet style and was fine. The staff on the front desk were helpful and gave really good recommendations on where to eat nearby. I did have some issues as when I arrived the hotel didn't seem to have a record...

"Everything about this hotel was absolutely fantastic. And that’s coming from a person who actually had a hiccup at the hotel. I tried ordering room service via the TV since I arrived late & most of the restaurants were already closed or closing but my food never came. I called the front desk but I guess the receptionist never relayed the message about my food because some of the hotel team showed up at my room door. I explained to them that I was waiting for my food. 20 mins later, another staff...

"Incredible staff, went out of their way to help this group of Americans with everything from quick turnaround on laundry/pressing service to providing tips on travelling around the city/country. The room was no frills when compared with what one might expect in a U.S. room, but it was clean, quiet, and a great place to sleep after days of exploring. We didn't travel halfway around the world just to hang out in a hotel room."

"The hotel is nice and at first sight service was good. However, after I'd checked in, staff first tried to force me to take a second room at extra cost and then cancelled my booking before calling the immigration police. Luckily my papers were in order and the police were very professional but it was quite an ordeal.
