Good value for the money

This is essentially a Airbnb-type property, not a real hotel. Nobody on site, but you can get in touch with remote staff via Whatsapp. Very clean, new, well-built. Room very spacious and comfortable. All equipment is high quality, new, fully functional. Some drawbacks: no human reception, if the electronic code not work -- what should one do? Also security concerns without any reception. No door locks to close from inside, no deadbolt, no latches. No safe box. No microwave to reheat any purchased food. No cooking facilities other than a coffee pot. No decent restaurants nearby (there is a MacDonald). Location: easy 25 min walk from the central train station and to the nearest tourist attractions. Otherwise it is a plain, unremarkable, safe neighborhood filled with large utilitarian stores, light industry and offices. Well priced compared to very expensive lodging in Salzburg.

The bulding is fairly close to downtown so walking is easy, ther are a lot of convenience stores around also a lot of restaurants, the place was really nice, very spacious and clean, and is self check in and it was easy.

Check-in is done all by the app. There is nobody on site. So check in dead take some time and the property is in a lower class neighborhood which if my husband was not with me, I would not have felt safe. It also took some time for check-in because you have to download a picture of yourself as well as your passport.

This place is 15 mins from Salzberg hbf by bus. There is a lidl closeby and some other shops. But there was no microwave inside the room or in the community area. Noone came to clean the room and change sheets or towels. There is no one you can call for it either. You have to go keep the dishes in the community area dishwasher which was stinking badly, clearly noone is even cleaning the community area for days. I am disappointed and would not recommend this place.

We booked 4 rooms for 4 nights for two families, but our experience was extremely disappointing.The problems started at check-in. There was no front desk staff available, and any assistance required calling and waiting in a queue. We arrived late at night after a long journey, and the self-check-in process was confusing, leaving us stranded with no immediate help.Although we had booked four rooms together, they were allocated on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors. We requested rooms on the same floor since we were travelling as families, but our request was refused, even though vacant rooms appeared to be available.The rooms did not match the photos shown during booking. The advertised pictures were misleading and gave the impression of much larger, better rooms.There was no daily housekeeping, toilet cleaning, or towel replacement. If you wanted your room cleaned, you had to pay €30 per room per day, which was unacceptable.One room had a serious drainage issue, with water collecting inside. When we reported it, we were asked to wait until 11:00 a.m., despite our plans to leave early for sightseeing.The rooms also had no air conditioning. After repeated requests, we were only given a small table fan.After just two nights, we left the property without any refund and moved to a branded hotel because we could no longer tolerate the poor service.
