"I recently celebrated my birthday weekend at Moon Palace, and overall, it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. We were greeted with drinks, warm towels, and a beautiful flower, which immediately set the tone. The check-in process was seamless—I especially appreciated how the staff handled our luggage. They took our bags, provided a ticket system, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. It felt organized, efficient, and different from any other hotel I’ve stayed at. The layout of the property is beautiful, and I loved the variety of dining options available. One thing that stood out to me was how services and excursions are charged to your room rather than paid upfront—it added a level of convenience that I really appreciated. Also, having someone personally take your bags to the room and walk you through everything was a nice touch. The food was okay—not bad, but not a standout. My main concern was with housekeeping. We checked in on Friday, and our room wasn’t cleaned until around 7 p.m. the following day. This was disappointing, especially since I saw housekeeping staff on the floor throughout the day, yet no one came to service our room until much later. Additionally, the wait time at the buffet to be seated was quite long, and it also took a while for anyone to come over and offer drinks or assistance. I’m not sure "

"I would never recommend this property. It is dated and worn out. The food was terrible and yet somehow everything tasted the same. We couldn’t even try some of the restaurants on property because they were either closed or no reservations available. The 2 hot tubs we saw were filthy and damaged. Snorkeling from the beach was literally the only redeeming quality for this resort. This experience was so bad that I wouldn’t trust any Couples Resort moving forward. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic experience, this is not the property for you…LOUD music every single night late into the night. The beach was dirty. There really was nothing good about this place aside from what we got to see while snorkeling just beyond the beach area. "

"My wife and I visited the Jamaica Inn for the first time. We will definitely return! The experience was top notch, the staff was great. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the food was very good."

"The view from the balcony was beautiful. The property is old and unkept. I was afraid to lay on the bed. Bugs everywhere and the shower didn’t drain. Would not recommend."

"The Property Need lots of Repairs, Their are broken tiles on floors, broken glass table in room, the gas Stove is rusted and burners are burnt out ,bathroom facet not right for that sink, when turned on it is sprays over the Floor and the shower head sprays incorrectly. The entrance doors and patio doors need adjusted, There are mold on entrance floors and walls, there are repairs needed on the whole property!"

"If I could give this “whatever this is” a negative-star rating I’d obliged. 1. Terrible Customer Service. Front desk clerk lacks professionalism and courtesy, they forget people are paying for a service and experience not your baggage from home. 2. You pay a hefty some for a wedding at the venue and they can’t accommodate a late check out, I had to get an Airbnb nearby for my wife to get ready for our wedding. 3. We decided to get their Breakfast, they up-charge fried dumpling when you want a get it in place of toast with a omelette absolutely ridiculous. 4. Cleaners come knocking on your door if you go a min over your checkout time. Absolutely mind-boggling. 5. Place is old and run down. Don’t waste your money, you can get some views with better quality and customer service don’t waste you or your family’s time. "
