Hotels near Salt Fork State Park

"Beautiful place! Breakfast was not as we expected, for such an upscale hotel. TV in the room was not working properly. It had to be rebooted and once it just went off. Maintenance was very helpful, though. And we didn't watch much TV anyhow. But overall it was very nice and we would go again. "

I think the rooms are too small to command more than that. This stay was fine. Although breakfast choices seemed a little less that in the past years. "

"A bit disappointed. The lobby was filled with a messy pallet of boxes. Something had tracked in or spilled all over the floor and was there for 2 days without being touched it seemed. My room was fine but smelled like sewage in the bathroom. The valve for the shower was broken so I had both shower and bathtub running at the same time. Breakfast was fairly well stocked with standard items and take aways which was nice. Would have a higher rating if the building appeared to be properly staffed. "

"There was plenty of parking all around the hotel, even with a wedding party staying. We took advantage of pool the evening we checked in and the morning we checked out after breakfast. Staff was friendly and everything was relatively clean and nicely in place. My only complaint was the back stairwell. My son has a fear of elevators and we had to use the stairs often and it was absolutely filthy. Like someone tracked mud in regularly. Overall our stay was great and we'd stay again. "

"This facility is a indigent stay place. My room was a no smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke. I was forced to buy Febreeze and sprayed the room three times to get the smell out. The mattress has been used so much that it can't be called a mattress anymore. The bed cover under the mattress was filthy with stains all over it. The carpet was filthy with many cigarette burn holes. I had to wear my shoes to walk around the room. The refrigerator was in good working order. Best thing about the room was the shower. I had good water pressure and the water was hot. I paid too much for this room given the conditions.$198.00 was too much, it should have been priced at $45.00 per night."
