Don’t believe the pictures; the air conditioned comfort penthouse advertised does not have windows in the walls of the apartment, and was barely ‘indoors’ much less ‘air conditioned’. "I got a great room with sea view. Room and bathroom are big. The view was breathtaking. And balcony with veranda was large. Breakfast is great and included. Rio vermilo is close by with bars and clubs close by. Casa Teresa is a restaurant close by to eat Bahian food. Everything is walkable. Go see lighthouse. Rooms can be upgraded with new fixtures and furniture. Overall very good hotel. Gym needs improvement. "

"This property is gorgeous and is steps away from a beautiful beach with stunning waves. I would watch the waves every day and can see it from my room. The staff is friendly, very helpful, and restaurant on site has delicious options. The area was also in an amazing area, very walkable to anything you need."

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "
