It was refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of, rather than having to chase down basic customer service. (Yes, Disney—this one’s for you!) The atmosphere of Palazzo Cannavina was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "

"Not truly located in the village of Gamberale. It is about 4 miles down the mountain side and is near the highway. The hotel itself isn't bad but has no surrounding amenities. May be good for a large family gathering. "
