"Super nice place, perfectly clean, and every detail is intentional and well thought out. Beautiful architecture, furniture, decoration. Very communicative and nice hosts who made sure we knew everything we needed to and were fast to answer on WhatsApp if we had a question. Be careful when coming in in case Google Maps tells you to take a smaller road 😅 stick to the roads that are clearly more average size vs the small side streets that will be dead ends 😂 there is parking super close but if it’s full then there’s a parking lot just 5 minutes up the road. Also the air conditioning was great and first hotel in Spain and Portugal that has had all soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Overall exceeded expectations and the drive up the mountain to it was the most beautiful area we saw our whole trip. The included breakfast was also amazing."

"Very relaxing break at Malaga Hills. Breakfast was great with a selection of fruit and croissants. The indoor pool kept cool all day and the honesty bar meant you were largely left to your own devices. That said, Vreneli, Ruud and staff were very helpful for booking restaurants, with Malaga Hills getting the best spots reserved. Great stay, would happily go back and enjoy the tranquil surroundings."

"A Truly Special Place There are hotels where you simply sleep, and then there are places that stay with you long after you’ve left. La Tienda Nueva is firmly in the second category. From the moment we arrived, we were less like guests and more like friends. Warmth, genuine hospitality and passion for both the guesthouse and the beautiful village of Cómpeta shine through in everything. The guesthouse itself is stunning. Beautifully restored, immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, it perfectly blends traditional Andalusian charm with modern comfort. Every detail has clearly been considered. The rooms are peaceful, the communal spaces are welcoming and the rooftop terrace is the perfect place to unwind and take in the atmosphere of this incredible white village. What really made our stay special wasn’t just the accommodation, it was the feeling. It felt calm, authentic and refreshingly personal. In a world of chain hotels and impersonal check-ins, La Tienda Nueva reminds you what hospitality is supposed to be. Cómpeta is a magical place in its own right, with its winding streets, friendly locals and breathtaking mountain scenery, and La Tienda Nueva is the perfect base from which to experience it. We arrived looking forward to a holiday and left with memories we’ll treasure. Thank you for creating somewhere so special. "Nous y avons dormi trois nuits. Le domaine est absolument superbe. Tout est beau - splendide même. C'est un endroit qui respire la sérénité, le savoir vivre. Une halte repos exceptionnelle dans le cadre d'un voyage dans les grandes villes d'Andalousie. Seul bémol, les deux restaurants servent une nourriture correcte, mais moins mémorable que l'hôtel et son domaine. Nous le recommandons fortement, et nous y retournerons."

"I had two nights here. Everything is clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast is not very clear, maybe a menu for hot food? I didn't realise there was hot food until I saw someone else receive a plate of eggs! Would definitely stay again...I might even come back next weekend 🤗"

"Lovely place with a beautiful view of the city. We stopped here for a night on our way to Granada. It was lovely to walk around the town and the food at the resturant was hands-down some of the best we've had on the trip. Overall the hotel is lovely."
