A good holiday was had by myself, unfortunately my wife had passed away in March 2025, yet I decided to go down to Sainte Maxime. Staying at the Eden Hotel made the holiday special."

"A True Gem in Sainte-Maxime I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Le Chardon Bleu this August, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like family by the wonderful husband and wife who run the hotel. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made my stay unforgettable. The owners are truly the heart of this property. They went above and beyond—personally helping me with restaurant reservations, beach club suggestions, local tips, and even little touches like recommending the best walking routes and hidden gems around Sainte-Maxime. You can feel their love for what they do in every detail of the experience. The hotel itself is charming, spotless, and perfectly located. Just a short walk to the beach, the marina, and all the shops and restaurants—yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful retreat. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and everything is maintained with great care. You can tell the owners take immense pride in the property. It’s rare to come across such a welcoming, sincere, and helpful pair—they embody true hospitality. Their attentiveness never felt forced or scripted; it was heartfelt. "The hotel closed the pool for chlorine during the day - on a day when the red flags were up at the beach which means no swimming. Really poor planning. You can chlorinate the pool any time, to do it in the middle of the day is dumb. We only stayed for 3 nights so it was disappointing. "
