"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....

"Nous sommes restés 2 nuits, si nous n'étions pas attendu ailleurs on serait resté plus longtemps. Les hôtes sont adorables. C'est un hôtel à taille humaine, très appréciable. "Wonderful small hotel in the heart of rural France. Room was very comfortable, staff very attentive and a great continental breakfast. Plenty of space to park on the street street outside hotel. Great place for my two night stopover. "

Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine. ."
