"They have pictures of nice and clean beautiful rooms in the website but this is not true. The room smelled and it had little bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has mold and it was very warm. The towels had stains. I would not recommend this unless your on a very low budget. "

"Our second visit to Apparteo Bordeaux and equally enjoyable! The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

"Very clean (excellent), well located house with plenty of space for families or friends. Pleasant view on a small vineyard Convenient with large area to prepare, and store, food. Good communication too made our two night stay very relaxing."

Once we were contacted by the concierge the communication was great but initially there were a few challenges getting hold of property and confirming cot bed & deposit. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). "Staff were excellent, Alex was especially helpful during the check in process. The room was spacious, good size, comfortable bed, good size shower, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Bordeaux is quaint, very much rural France. Small cafes, bakeries and coffee shops. City center is small in comparison to the most popular French cities, I enjoy that. The hotel is close to public transportation."

"Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Bordeaux centre. An ideal base for exploring the city on foot, close to many of the sights and endless cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. A special mention to the excellent reception staff who helped us book a *very* early taxi to the train station when our original train was cancelled. And even gave us a coffee to fuel us for the 4.30am start! We look forward to our next visit. "

"We had a split level suite, with a ver comfortable king bed upstairs and two half sofa beds available downstairs. No window upstairs and the one downstairs had no view. Pas de problem. Parking was very easy. The onsite guest laundry was also simple to use and washed/dried in one cycle per machine for 5e total. Nice! WiFi excellent. The TV would not work with a laptop over HDMI, but did permit local media playback from a FAT32 USB stick. Breakfasts were of a good standard, though without the usual eggs bacon sausage. Very quiet in the room, and great staff in the lobby. Would choose this property again. "
