Family friendly Hotels in Saint-Martin-de-la-Côte-Fleurie, Normandy

"Generally the hotel was spotless, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Only 3 downsides. Firstly, the room was very small and the shower room so tiny you could scarcely turn round. Secondly, the hotel is a fair hike from Villers centre. Buses are few and far between and taxis don't exist in Villers and there isn't much around the hotel. Thirdly, the stairs from the underground car park come up outside the hotel. Got soaked. "The wallpaper was loose on some of the walls. No communication in other language than French. We received a handwritten note in French, on details regarding location, routines with check out and so on. Trying to first to interpret handwriting, then translating the text using google translate is complex… The apartment was far from the beach. All of us got some kind of insect bites the first night, we suspect from the beds. The facilities worked as expected (kitchen, bathroom etc). Says...

"The whole complex is very nice and the pool is great. The pool has a sliding cover that the managers close during the chilly nights at the end of summer to keep the water warm. The two towns nearby, Villers-Sur-Mer and Houlgate, have superb beaches and amazing restaurants."
