This was clearly the French version of Basil Fawlty, who nearly pushed me to ask how many French commandos landed in 1944. An absolutely unwelcoming hotel to be avoided at all cost "

"Plenty of secure parking (gate shut overnight) room was in need of some updating but fine for an overnight stay. Reception staff were courteous and efficient. Many restaurants within 5 minute walk."
