We stayed one night on our way to the south of France. The setting is magical, in the woods, on the edge of a little town and with lovely animals. The host was very friendly. She recommended a great local restaurant.

We had a lovely stay at La Faisanderie with our 2 young children. We were met by the lovely host who really made sure we felt welcome and we were comfortable. The kids had the best time seeing all the animals and swimming in the amazing big pool. We hope to visit again soon, thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful host. Amazing place. Dogs, chickens, a peacock, and horses all freely walking around. It will suit some, not others. We loved it.

The wooden bungalow needed a good clean. There were lots of Spider webs, spiders and dust. Quite a lot of ants so couldn't eat or drink on the porch. Breakfast was left on the porch table and ants and fly's we're on the food and in the fresh orange juice. We didn't sleep very well due to the bugs and heat. Only fans and no air conditioning.

Il manquait des informations exactes comme quoi on devait ramener notre petit dĂ©jeuner alors qu’il Ă©tait servi au matin ! J ignorais Ă©galement le contenu de ce dĂ©jeuner, la cuisine est trĂšs sale, mĂȘme la table ronde extĂ©rieure aussi avec un mĂ©got sur la table, je ne me sentais pas Ă  l’aise 
 je suis sourde il manque vraiment un accessibilitĂ© surtout Ă  mon arrivĂ©e, le portail Ă©tait verrouillĂ© avec un collier

This is a totally worn out location. Very bad state of the room and its accommodation. Lovely lady host and beautiful garden estate do not compensate the bad night for our family stay. Luckily it was only for one night.

Le cadre est vraiment chouette, verdoyant, déconnecté, avec des animaux. L'hÎte est arrangeante, elle nous a mis un lit parapluie à disposition. Mais gros bemol sur l'état du logement: entretien et menage à revoir ! (Velux avec volet qui ne ferme pas totalement et laisse passer le jour, paroi de douche qui nous tombe dessus et ne ferme pas non plus correctement, on finit par mettre de l'eau partout, nombreuses toiles d'araignées avec leurs occupantes, saletés au sol et sur les meubles...) Pas top avec un bébé.

La gĂ©rante du gĂźte m'a offert un accueil chaleureux. Par ailleurs, le cadre est trĂšs reposant : les chambres se trouvant en bordure de forĂȘt et des animaux parcourent les lieux librement. La chambre Ă©tait propre et chauffĂ©e Ă  l'avance. Enfin, le petit-dĂ©jeuner servi sur le pas de la porte a Ă©tĂ© agrĂ©able. Je recommande vivement !

Expérience désastreuse à La Faisanderie

MalgrĂ© un accueil charmant de Laure, je ne peux que dĂ©noncer une pratique que je considĂšre malhonnĂȘte. Nous avions rĂ©servĂ© une suite studio familiale pour deux adultes et un enfant, et Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, on nous a attribuĂ© une simple chambre familiale, trĂšs diffĂ©rente de ce que nous avions rĂ©servĂ©. Pire encore, la chambre attribuĂ©e empestait les Ă©gouts, rendant l’air irrespirable. Nous Ă©tions Ă  Bourges pour le championnat de France de karatĂ© de notre fille, un moment important oĂč elle devait pouvoir se reposer dans de bonnes conditions. Au lieu de cela, nous avons dĂ» quitter les lieux vers 22h30 pour chercher une autre solution en urgence via HĂŽtels.com. L’excuse fournie par Laure ? La suite studio familiale ne serait accessible que pour des sĂ©jours de plus de 3 nuits
 alors pourquoi avons-nous pu la rĂ©server ? Et surtout, elle a affirmĂ© Ă  HĂŽtels.com que la suite n’était pas disponible, ce qui est faux. En consultant les autres avis, il semble que ce genre de substitution arrive souvent. Cela doit cesser. La chambre familiale qu’on nous a donnĂ©e Ă©tait vieillotte, nĂ©cessitant des rĂ©novations, et ne correspondait en rien aux photos de la suite rĂ©servĂ©e. Je recommande Ă  tout futur client de bien vĂ©rifier ce qui est rĂ©ellement proposĂ©, et surtout de se mĂ©fier de ce genre de pratiques.

Hidden gem

This is a lovely spot in the middle of woodland. We stayed in a little apartment that was generally well kitted out. Probably suitable for a night or two. The room was clean and warm especially good for a night in February. The owner was very friendly and brought us our delicious breakfast on a tray in the morning. Our only concern was the bedroom area which was up steep stairs with large gap in the railings over the living room. Overall we had a super stay and would come back

Globalement la chambre est asses ancienne et aurait besoin d'un rafraĂźchissement. La literie est usagĂ©e, la salle de bain n'Ă©tait pas vraiment propre. Le petit dej certes copieux prĂ©sente un yaourt pĂ©rimĂ© de 10jours... Quand bien mĂȘme ce n'est pas grave, ce n'est pas pro.

The lady that runs the House (the Owner) is lovely. She was keen to make everybody welcome. Breakfast was lovely when served with other guests whom we got to talk to. The grounds of the house are a real joy to see with great facilities well kept. I would stay there again.

Un domaine splendide oĂč on se sent comme chez soi

Avec la trÚs forte chaleur, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande piscine, le parc environnant peuplé d'oiseaux. Un petit-déjeuner copieux servi au bord de la piscine avant de reprendre la route...Des hÎtesses trÚs gentilles et accueillantes. La prochaine fois, nous resterons plus longtemps...

La Faisanderie : parfait et idyllique

Dans un parc arborĂ© en lisiĂšre de forĂȘt le sejour a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs agrĂ©able dans le pavillon pres de la piscine. Une ambiance de chĂąteau, des animaux (poules, chevaux, ...), la propriĂ©taire aux petits soins... Parfait !
