"Room was perfect."

"Very disappointed in this hotel, they should have advised the hotel was going thru renovations, the awkward entry from the front to the horrible smell of paint in the lobby and construction dust everywhere. The service from front desk was horrible, they had always 3 to 4 people who were more a permanent fixture than they were helpful. Front desk claimed that during check-in that you would have to put in a request to have the rooms cleaned and fresh towels placed, that was never suggested. We requested to have a faulty iron replaced and that took forever, we asked 3 seperate times for fresh towels and garbage removal and 5 hour's later nothing until we physically went to front desk to ask why is it so difficult to get a simple request completed. I would never go back, the hotel is situated along hwy with major constuction to roads everywhere and its in the middle of industrial run down area. First and last time at this hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"Excellent location for walking to shopping on rue St Catherine or to Vieux Port, as well as Bell Centre if you're there for hockey. Convenient and clean indoor parking next door off Stanley. Check-in was fast and easy, we upgraded to a Club Level room that could have had queen beds instead of doubles which seems non-luxurious to me. Club Lounge had an excellent breakfast if you don't mind paying to upgrade for that. Gym has excellent equipment and is very clean, open 24 hours. Pool is only open to 10pm and I think having an adults only hour from 10-11 would be nice so you could enjoy lengths and the sauna or hot tub without children playing for an hour. All in all, very clean and well managed. Would just prefer queen beds to doubles if we opt for two beds and would like policy for pool amenities changed to add an adults only hour at the end of each day."

"The rooms are so expansive with high ceilings and everything functional. Staff is the most warm and welcoming staff I have experienced in Montreal. Location you cannot beat! Only qualm was the breakfast was pretty basic which was below expectations but overall it was a very pleasant stay; so much that we extended it for an extra night! "

"A lovely location. The hospitality was fantastic, even for English-speaking Ontarians. Valet service was excellent - shoutout to the guys at Place! It was elegant and yet comfortable. Did not disappoint. We will definitely come again. We travel in late March because there are less crowds, noise and lots of space to walk around, staff are not run off their feet and therefore much happier. Thank you to all! "
