"This is a high-quality, very efficient hotel within a five-minute walk of the train station and transport hub. It is exactly the opposite of a boutique hotel - nothing quirky (or annoying). Just a quality hotel. A note: Across the pedestrian bridge next to the hotel is a nice little neighborhood with restaurants, a grocery, a small park and a good laundromat. "Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful."

"Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldn’t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but that’s not the end of the world."
