"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. "The rooms are a fair size for a French hotel. No frills, clean and comfortable. Sole issue for my particular experience, shower/sink water barely over tepid. I mentioned to the staff who adressed it, and water was instantly warmer, although still not "hot". Shower with tepid water in November isnt the most agreable. "Lovely clean modern hotel. Suite was huge and beds really comfy. We stayed during a hot period so struggled a big with the heat as the suite has big windows, but there was an aircon unit we could use. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but we kept having to ask for refills of most things, but they were happy to do that. The grounds are stunning and relaxing. We would sit ourside in the evening with a local beer (great IPA and Blond) and listen to the birds."

"Wow! Wow! Wow! This quirky, little place completely stole our hearts ♥️ My little boy was gutted we had to leave and said he'll never forgot this place or Yves- the farmer! 🥰 When we arrived we were invited into his home for beers around his kitchen table and he told us how he built the treehouse all by himself and the zip wires. Breakfast was delivered each morning to the treehouse in a basket where we ate it in the treetops- totally magical! There was enough food for breakfast, lunch and tea! Our children loved being able to wander around the farm, feeding the animals and the zip wire and pool were a big hit with them both! "

The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."

"We booked this as we are cycling with 2 electric bikes. We arrived ridiculously late but it was t an issue.Reception staff very welcoming! We were able to take our bikes into the room( thank - you!). A budget experience….but was clean, great facilities and the best breakfast ( I am gluten-free….. and there wasGF cereal, rice pudding ,fruit… all my faves. A great stay…. Thank you😁"
