"This is a lovely spot from which to cycle and visit the various wineries in the St Emillion region. The gym is very small but ok if you are alone. The restaurant meals were excellent."

"The breakfast was superb. The staff and lobby area are great. My room was uncomfortably small and cheaply constructed. The queen size bed was next to a wall so one of us (me) had to crawl on the bed to get on and off. Sink was ugly and in the hallway. No space for luggage."

"Fabulous location, staff super helpful with local knowledge. Car park arrangements worked very well. We experienced great sunset over Bordeaux at the rooftop bar on our first night! Thanks for a great stay will certainly be back when we are next in Bordeaux. "

"Breakfast was basic but filling. If you’re not European and come from South East Asia, don’t expect anything with spices. No preferences for non pork/beef eaters so make do with eggs and bread. The TV has no English programming and even when I complained that the CNN channel was out, nothing was done. Zero marks for effott"

"We had one of the smaller rooms. Very basic, bunk beds, strange design. Lighting controls not intuitive, even with English instructions. Good location adjacent to Atelier de Citernes food hall with numerous vendors. Walk to Gare St Jean in 10 minutes or less."

"Staff very friendly. Location ideal for Eye Hospital and trams to centre. No problem parking with direct access to hotel. Rooms large and clean. Expensive breakfast especially as there was no scrambled eggs for breakfast both times we stayed there. If there again will not have breakfast in the hotel but in one of the many cafes close by."
