"Warm welcome from Estelle with helpful guidance for local points of interest and restaurants. Shower was very good with hot water operating without any wait time. Breakfast was all of good quality, home made approach with apples pick from her tree each morning, and cooked eggs from her free range hens were offered. Very nice secure countryside house."

"A beautiful place and just right for our overnight stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful and his English is very good. The room is very comfortable and the dual aspect windows overlook some lovely countryside. Breakfast was delightful-all laid out in a breakfast room with homemade jams etc to go with the french bread and croissants. We didn’t get chance to even see the pool as the weather was cool but we hope to visit again and try it out!"

"This was our favorite stay in the region. The property itself and rooms are beautiful, well-furnished, spacious, and very comfy. The family was very welcoming and kind, we felt right at home. "Very nice hotel, on a main road, but set back and very quiet - secure parking only 10 metres from our room. Room had everything we needed, and nice and warm for an early March visit. Would defo stay here again if in the area. Seems popular with travellers heading down to Spain. Owner recommended a cafe for evening meal only 200m away. Cafe de Gare - nothing at all like a railway station cafe, great food and wine at decent prices.Excellent !"

"Nobody there - place was deserted despite advising we would be arriving around 8pm having driven to Bordeaux from London. Nobody answered my calls - unbelievable. Stuck in the dark in the middle of nowhere. Hotels.com found us another room so we checked in after 10pm. Totally exhausted and frustrated.
