"This is small castle of 14th to 18th century Serge is owner of this castle and develops this building He was very kind . We felt like royal family eventhoug stayed only one night. He prepared. Our. "Lovely old house, very comfy with nice sized rooms, the home cooked food I had on my first night was excellent. Nice hosts who attend to what's needed but also leave you be so you feel you have privacy and solitude. Nice location for getting into Le Dorat. "

"We stayed at this hotel June 2022 and decided to stay there again whilst travelling in this area in May 2023. Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking. "Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel. Le personnel à l'accueil est exceptionnel. Il est rare dans les hôtels d'être reconnu et salué par son nom lors du passage à la réception. Les choix pour le petit déjeuner sont très variés. Côté chambre, le lit et les oreillers sont confortables, toit est propre et fonctionnel. Vu le prix, on ne peut s'attendre à avoir davantage que le strict nécessaire. Donc ne pas s'attendre à avoir un réfrigérateur ou une machine à café. Je n'ai utilisé ni le chauffage ni l'AC. Donc pas d'avis pour cela. Hôtel recommandé. "

Convenient and friendly

"The hotel was in an ideal location for us so very convenient. Its a common place for truckers to stop overnight. If the restaurant is closed there is a supermarket 8 mins drive or a pizza vending machine 3 minutes drive. Friendly staff. No vegetarian options tho and the walls very thin in the cabins (not ideal if youre travelling with a child and theres a couple next door🙈). The shutters are fab, leave the room pitch black at any hour."

"This is exactly what it says it is - no frills , cheap accomodation and it delivered perfectly. I booked for one night as all the reviews were positive and I can only say positive things. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and basic and there were many dining options close by. "
