Saidai-ji

I had an overnight layover and this hotel was very close to the airport. They also had a shuttle service available, but I used the train. Nice place to shower and sleep without worrying about missing your flight! There are also some nearby stores to visit and a Lawson's. The Rinku Park is nice to walk around and the station is very close so you can also head to Namba to go sight seeing.

I do not recommend this hotel. Our first room had a malfunctioning air conditioner. After we notified the staff, they moved us to a different room. Unfortunately, this second room smelled so bad that air freshener didn't help. Communication was a major issue. Despite the hotel's close proximity to Kansai International Airport, I was surprised that the staff struggled significantly to communicate in English. We had to rely entirely on Google Translate for every conversation. The only real advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to a Premium Outlet. Otherwise, the location is highly inconvenient. The closest train station requires a 15–20 minute walk, making a taxi the only practical way to get there. Fortunately, my family only stayed for one night. I will not choose this hotel again for future airport transit.
