"Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!"
"This traditional Japanese Inn is thoroughly modern with excellent facilities, rooms, Michelin quality food, and helpful staff. We want to call out ‘Mikki’ who was super kind and helped us with any language barriers we had. The entire restaurant staff was amazing and we are grateful to meet the chef. The onsens were also wonderful. A room here with breakfast and dinner included is an excellent value."
"Dinner can be provided. We had pizza and pasta and both were excellent. Host is very nice and gave us a nice introduction. Highly recommend this property. "
"The nearest dining place is 30mins drive and there's nothing to eat in the hotel tho there's a restaurant in the hotel but it's not open. We have to clear our own trash. Staff do not speak english.bed is hard and pillow to thin and soft."

"One train stop away from the airport. The staff were so kind; they let us check in early for a small fee and upgraded our room at no cost. Very clean and made getting to the airport stress-free. "
"It made my stay really good,as my wife fell getting off the plane on our first day and was in hospital for the whole of our holiday plus an extra 5 days until she was discharged from hospital "
"Honestly, there aren't lots of restaurants near the hotel, but at least there's a well-stocked 7-11 and a Japanese stationery store close by that can brighten my day. The bed was comfy enough, though having an extra pillow would have made it even better. The living room does feel a little cramped."
