"This hotel provided excellent services from check in to check out. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean, with a very nice view. The onsen experience was superior as the hotel had different onsen pools for guests to enjoy, and the changing room was also very neat and clean. "Very cozy hotel in the small quiet town of Shiroshi. We stayed here only one night for easy access to the Zao Fox Sanctuary the following day, it was well worth all the effort to go and see. Easy access to Shinkansen bullet train, and a Family Mart right across the street."

"The whole hotel is maybe 20 years past a renovation, carpet in the hallways and rooms that I know they cant clean as well as they should. The AC in our room made the whole room stink of really old furniture, the kind that’s almost rotten, but not damp. The breakfast was a bunch of small items that won’t fill you up. The rice and curry were good, but that does not make it up. "

"This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever stayed. The lounge was filled with tasty treats and drinks in the afternoons and outside was a beautiful area with a foot bath. The hot springs were wonderful and the kaiseki dinners were amazing. The hotel staff members were very accommodating and gracious when dealing with a mixup about the reservation. We enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby at night. There is a convenient bus to and from Sendai station. You can purchase roundtrip tickets when you get off the bus, for a slightly discounted price. Our room was so spacious and comfortable that I miss being there already. Highly recommend and we will be back!"
