Wonderful hotel stay-home away from home

The room was very comfortable and convenient. I loved the full kitchen. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! One suggestion would be to warm the pool up.

Room was pretty clean, bed very comfy! Carpet looking a little tattered. Best part was the front seat gal on duty. She was awesome!!! Extremely friendly, great about suggestions for dinner. Asking what brought us into the area… AND , it was all genuine.. she deserves recognition from management at that location, but I can’t remember her name! 😒

The mid-day desk attendant, she was kind & helpful, within her capabilities. Since the hotel was completely booked, she was unable to change our room. The pool was closed, but we were offered to use the pool at their “sister” hotel next door. The workout room was very limited w/ the equipment offered. The hotel needs a complete renovation- new carpet & paint. The hallways had a very odd & dirty smell. Breakfast was meh - waffle maker, basic cereal from the dispenser, fruit, scrambled eggs & sausage, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, & to go oatmeal. A few juice options along with milk. The pros of our room: The bed was soft & for the most part very comfortable- it wasn’t overly soft/ broken where you could feel coils or other things in the mattress. Our room was a 1 bedroom suite, so it came w/ a dorm room sized fridge, kitchenette, dishwasher, & basic kitchenware. The cons of our room: The paint was chipping & stained, carpet was dirty, a couple dirty dishes in the cabinet, the top blanket on the bed was dirty on the bottom side, air did not work well in the main area w/ sofa, air worked phenomenally in the bedroom, shower pressure was non existent & took forever to drain, we found a packet w/ pills in it by the sofa, & speaking of the sofa - the “icing” on the cake. The sofa cushions were dirty & had white stains all over them- IYKYK. We had to buy an air mattress for our teen to sleep on since we were NOT using the pull out bed from the sofa & used our lawn chairs to sit on.

The couch looked pretty worn and dirty. Same for the pullout bed. I wish the listing had the sizes of the beds. I assumed it was a Queen, but it was much smaller. There is not enough room for two tall adults on the bed. The shower drained slowly, and there was no bathroom fan. The rooms are large and pretty soundproof. The work area had plenty of space for several monitors. Breakfast was great, workout room was fine.

Still a worthwhile stay

my wife has stayed there before while visiting family and always loved this location. Even she could see that it was not quite as clean nor comfortable. I was welcomed by Sheldon (?) when I checked in. Very hospitable, informative and great guy. He offered up a ton of great information. Breakfast was superb. Room was somewhat dated. Washcloth (only 1 provided) was stained (old stain) and general room cleaning (are of walls by the door where most people don't even look) was somewhat lacking. Also, even though a wall thermostat, very hard to keep the room comfortable...even set at 64, very warm.
