Get off the bus a little before the city centre to visit Den Gamle By. This open-air museum was founded as an old market town with 80historical buildings brought here and rebuilt from sites all over the country, dating from different periods from the 16th to the 20th centuries. A special Christmas event is put on every December, and draws many tourists.
