"Fab as always our October half term annual trip, unfortunately the end of season was a little earlier this year so we had to cut our trip a little shorter than usual. Big thank you to the kids club staff! 10/10 service by all staff members."

"I found that some members of staff should be more smiling (e.g. staff at the restaurant) or more customer-centric (e.g. check-in and check-out at the reception very transactional; not a warm welcome and at the check-out nothing like thank you for staying with us or we hope you enjoyed your stay, we look forward to seeing you again). "El Somni was everything we hoped it would be; great location with access to the beach but also conveniently located near to other towns and places of interest. Great walks into the nearby hills and car hire onsite made exploration very easy. Great staff, (especially the massage team) who were keen to help with any enquiry. Nearby restaurant the Boat House was well worth a visit, otherwise evening options are limited. For a relaxing spot with great access to the rest of the island this place is hard to beat. "

"This resort and hotel are really only geared up for good weather, and it was mixed in the week we spent here. When the sun was shining it was lovely but there isn't much to do in Portinatx when it isn't (public transport is limited). It also might have been better to go earlier in the season (we were 6 - 13 Oct), as within the hotel it felt like some things were running out and not being replaced, and many restaurants were closed. Overall, a nice trip but the quality of the hotel didn't match the glowing reviews we'd read on line. "

"The staff are so lovely and happy, they make the hotel a pleasure to visit. Excellent food choices and quality is superb. We love that it is small enough to feel friendly and intimate, but large enough to feel lively and has access to a brilliant beach for safe swimming and small bars along the boardwalk. Truly comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our 2nd visit and definitely not our last, I’m sure."
