Beautiful den Bosch

The property was in a really good location, close to most things a traveler requires. However, the check-in instructions were sent in Dutch, and when we sent an email indicating that we couldn’t understand them, the response was also in Dutch. Checking in turned out to be OK, however we didn’t see a soul in the reception area for the entire stay of 4 nights. It is hard to call this a hotel, when there is no one to speak to at any time.

We disliked the check-in procedure without an actual reception area. It was very awkward and difficult to communicate with management. The apartment was charming but some improvements could be made: replace the burner with a microwave; provide some towels or paper towels to dry dishes. On the Expedia site it specifically said that both bathrobes and laundry facilities were provided but this was not the case. The bed room was nice and cozy with a very comfortable bed and great pillows. The heater worked very well which we really appreciated given the inclement weather we experienced. A second railing on the very challenging staircase could provide additional safety.

Centraal gelegen gezellig hotel.

Uylenhof Hotel ligt uitstekend bijna in het midden van het centrum. Vandaaruit loop je overal naar toe. Het hotel heeft een mooie ruime binnentuin waar we een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt genuttigd hebben. De door ons besproken kamer had beneden de badkamer en een trapje hoger de slaapkamer - keuken - zithoek. Gezien de trap moet je goed ter been zijn, niet hoog maar rond lopend en smal. Je kunt je goed vasthouden.
