"The property was nice and clean. A few little problems, which I guess can't really be changed the bathroom is really small, thight shower. There's no parking on site. There's one close by, but it cost $60+ per day, so don't bring a car with you. The staffs were really nice and friendly. Didn't make it to breakfast, so can't say anything about that. "

"I had a pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in New York. The location was very convenient and close to many attractions and subway stations, which made getting around the city easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. One of my favorite touches was the warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in, it definitely made the stay feel special. Overall, it was a solid place to stay if you want comfort and a great location while visiting NYC. "

"The hotel is small and dated but great location. Bed was quite stiff. The biggest issue might be the lack of staff. This is a semi virtual hotel and it shows. I was not sent any check-in information before my stay and luckily there was someone on site to re-issue it. (I actually received the check in information a full week after my stay had already ended!). The other concern was that I requested a late check out via text message and received confirmation that was OK. However when I went back to my room to get my belongings and leave, the door code had locked me out leaving me scrambling to get to the airport. There was no one on site and no one responded to my text messages or phone calls for almost 2 hours. I was finally able to find a member of the cleaning staff to let me into my room to retrieve my bags. When I did finally hear back from the hotel it was a Curt message about how checkout time was 11 AM. When I shared the screenshots of my approval to check out later, nothing was said. "

"tons of shops, about 10 min walk to Times Square. the vending machines don’t give water though as advertised, it kept producing brisk tea. bathrooms weren’t super clean. also the men in the lobbies kept asking for a room key but we noticed other guests of different races got to walk through no issues "

"Very small rooms with very little room for storage. I wasn’t a fan of the non standard bathroom facilites just a glassed in toilet and separate shower but the shower water pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. I would give 5 stars to the staff everyone we encountered check in, Lobby bar and housekeeping staff were extemely friendly and helpful. Called twice fo additional supplies and they were delivered to our door in 5 minutes. The hotel is in a nice location outside the bustle of times square fifth ave but close enough for easy walking. "

"Beautiful room with surprising views of the city skyline. Right across the street from Old Friend. Isla & Co had some really well made cocktails and an excellent espresso martini tower. All in the area that I visit the most in NYC. "
