Although I visited in early April, it was quiet which was nice. The shuttle service is a bonus. It will take you to Grand Hirafu welcome center if your vibe is more happy-go-lucky. Hehehe. "This hotel is such a wonderful gem. Staff are super nice, rooms are very well-equipped, and the amenities are hands down the best. We booked a room with a private onsen which I highly highly recommend. It was so incredible after snowboarding all day and getting to relax in your own private onsen that has a view of the mountain. So beautiful. They have a locker room to store all your gear on the base floor that goes right out to the chairlift. So convenient. It's also in a great location, super close to restaurants and Ace Gondola. They gave us a bottle of champagne for our Anniversary which was so sweet. I guess other people say it seems old but I think it's super charming. I wouldn't stay anywhere else."

"Best onsen hotel in Noboribetsu. Some parts of the hotel is a bit dated but clean. Buffet has a good range of options. Good range of shops, restaurants and entertainment inside the hotel. Location is easily accessible by car and bus. Hotel is situated 2 minutes walk from Jigokudani Valley"

"I wish we stayed here longer, the staff were amazing and helpful even with the language barrier. The location is authentically Japanese, or as close as possible. The Onsens were amazing and food was delicious. I was planning on gate keeping the location so it doesn’t become too westernised, but the place is too amazing and hopefully it keeps its Japanese roots. "
