6/10 Okay

The location is great for moving your student in Tech or visiting. Rooms are not cleaned well, our shower still had an open soap bar in it from the last guest. Housekeeping has to be requested and even when requested it is a crapshoot if it gets done. We did not get it and then received pool towels to replace our shower towels. Second stay here and it was about the same as the last. Good for the price but if you can afford the Courtyard across the interstate, stay there. We didn’t because they were full.

Room was large (plenty of space) and clean. Quiet room! & I was across from the ice machine and elevators. Close to LA Tech campus, approx 7-8 min drive. I’ll stay there again when I go back for homecoming in the Fall. I had there free breakfast one morning. Dining area was very clean. Food was fair, better than I expected. Was good for a quick bite to eat before going to campus. Fruit, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, sausage, milk, fruit juice, & cook your own waffles.

1st room looked like someone just slept.in the bed. The floors were dirty like it had not been vacuumed. Stains everywhere. Mirrors had residue...bathroom missing drain guards in sink, not clear. Shower mildewed. Switch rooms, not much better. Same issuea, but dark and mirror lights not working...hotel staff nice though...good location

There were several cleaning issues when we arrived, including hair and a cockroach in the bathroom, a wrinkled bed, and pee in the toilet. The staff was understanding of the issue; however, no financial compensation has been given at this time. While we experienced a lackluster cleaning service, the gym and free breakfast were very good.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was missing items that were supposed to be out. Back security door supposed to be locked, (not). Lot of people lounging around lobby & outside. A beggar hanging around back door asking for cash. Not a good look

The Best Western Plus, Ruston was a nice and comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping wasn’t great, because the microwave in our room was dirty, it hadn’t been clean nor the refrigerator. I reported it to the front desk. Supposedly they were short on housekeeping. I paid $445.00 for two nights and wasn’t completely satisfied. Housekeeping need to get better. And the one young lady that I seen cleaning rooms had her dog with her sitting on her cart. That’s an absolute no!!!!!!

Beautiful hotel looks as if it’s newly built. Professional staff very nice, during check in and checkout. The room was roomy the bed comfortable and definitely temperature controlled very comfortable especially during the night when I need it to be really cold. The location was in a perfect spot right off the interstate and 5 minutes from the baseball park for my grandson game

Our first room had a couple of minor issues, and the front desk clerk wasn’t able to resolve them, but he quickly moved us to a new room. The second room was great, comfortable bed, great air conditioning, and everything worked as it should. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed for a couple of days, and the breakfast was consistently good each morning. The fitness center was adequate for a short stay, though the pool wasn’t ready for swimming.
