"This is a great resort for families with kids up to about 6 years old. The facilities cater amazingly to thaat age group. For older kids the pool is very good and the games room is also good, but the kids program for 7-9 year olds is only ok. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, with great choices. The appartment we stayed in was a very good size with plenty of space. It is about 15-20 minute walk to the beach, which for us was fine. "Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"Very helpful staff and a very high quality hotel. Centrally located. The number 26 VVR Ortsbus, that is the local town bus service in Göhren stops outside the door in both directions. That is important as Göhren is hilly and the railway station is down in the lower part of town at sea level. If you have ever been in Howth, Ireland it is near identical geography in Göhren. The 21, 29 and also 20 buses that get you into other parts of Rügen stop outside the Heimatmuseum about 200 m away around the corner."

"Everything good, room clean , spacious and airy. Receptionist very nice. Breakfast staff lovely particularly Simon who was brilliant and spoke good English. Nice overall location ,quiet and plenty of parking. However you had to pay for parking, and the swimming pool which is supposed to be heated was very chilly and we couldn't swim. As was the jacuzzi. A shame."
